We Need Your Help
There are several things that you can do to help us stop or minimize the
current Dominion proposal. Several quick and easy areas where you can help
are listed on the Towering Concerns website. However, we need your
financial support to continue our Mission. It is very expensive to hire a
seasoned lawyer(s), and credible subject matter expert(s) that can persuade
the State Corporation Commission and Dominion to bury the transmission lines
or offer alternatives that lessen the impact to our area. Our surveys have
indicated that the affected communities overwhelmingly support our Mission
and have pledged financial donations and volunteered support. We humbly ask
for your personal help in that matter.
How Will Your Donations Be Utilized?
Towering Concerns is incorporated as a non-profit corporation that is bound
by the laws of the state of Virginia. There are no management fees, and
100% of any donated monetary gift will be used towards the stated Mission.
Towering Concerns has applied for a tax-exempt status in order for your
contributions to be tax deductible. Although in the works, tax-exempt
status has not been granted at this time. You should check with your
income tax or business advisor regarding deductibility in your personal
situation.
The amount of money required to provide the legal
support and persuasive credible expert witnesses will be large. Please give
as much as you can to help this Mission. When deciding how much to
contribute, please consider the consequences of the negative impacts to our
community, home values, not to mention the negative health and safety
potential. We urge you to conduct your own research and learn what these
towers will do to your property value alone.
Thank you very much for helping us help our community!
